Several terrorist organisations in Bangladesh are pressuring the government to revoke the ban imposed on them, according to intelligence sources.

These groups, which aim to establish an Islamic State and Caliphate globally, are active in Bangladesh and are also attempting to operate in India. They are now taking to the streets of Bangladesh, marching for the establishment of a Caliphate.

“The situation in Bangladesh is volatile, and they want to take full advantage of this,” sources say.

Sources also reveal that these groups have become increasingly active in Bangladesh, particularly in universities. They are attempting to manipulate students in various educational institutions to further their objectives. A senior officer told News18, “They want the ban on them lifted and they want to implement the same operational model in India. They aim to radicalise students in educational institutions.”
