Stay Fit Run Noida to support Physical and Mental Health Awareness

Stay Fit Run Noida marks the launch of the pan-India Stay Fit Campaign, aiming to promote health awareness across Bharat, including in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities that stand to benefit most from accessible fitness programs.

The much-anticipated Stay Fit Run Noida took place on December 15, 2024, at Amity Global School, Sector 44, Noida. Organised to raise awareness about physical and mental health, this dynamic running event had over 900 participants from diverse backgrounds who united to champion fitness, wellness, and a balanced lifestyle despite the extreme cold. Stay Fit Run Noida marks the launch of the pan-India Stay Fit Campaign, aiming to promote health awareness across Bharat, including in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities that stand to benefit most from accessible fitness programmes.

As planned, the run started first after the warm up.

Others who were felicitated included, the 10km Pacers Manish Dahiya with 45 minutes, Dr Vipul Aggarwal, 50 minutes, Rohit Kumar, 55minutes, Anupam Gupta, 60 minutes and Abhishek Chauhan with 70 minutes, the 5km race pacers Tushma Sethi with 30minutes, Viresh Gupta with 35 minutes and Ankush Prakash with 40 minutes time.

Ramanjit Singh Oberoi, Race Director, Yashwinder Paal Siingh, Race Director, Race Motivators Anju Saini, Dr Pallavi Aga and Dr Pradip Sarma were also felicitated.

The event was graced by Dr Sunita Godara, the Celebrity Sports Ambassador of Stay Fit Run is an eminent international athlete marathoner and 1992 Asian Marathon Gold medallist.The event also had eminent people like
Nanditesh Nilay, ICCSR, IIT Delhi Alumus, Monica Das, Director Academics, Amity Schools and Anita Paul, Principal, Amity Global School, Sector 44, Noida, Prof Surendra Pathak, Author of Vasudhaiva Kutumubakam and a trainer, Inddramohan Yadav, a motivator who connects everyone, Dr PK Jha, prominent nuerolologist and Ajit Kumar, a Sustainable Development Integrator and Media expert. All these experts motivated the audience and also covered various social, health, family and emotional issues.

Stay Fit Run also had a special guest, Sunil Kumar, an ex army person and Champion who was awarded by the India Book of Records for maximum walk in a month. Everyone was excited to see him and the unpacking of his award.

Dr Sunita Godara said, “At Stay Fit Run, Noida I enjoyed as the Sports Ambassador, flagging off the 10 km & 5 km Run and giving away the prizes to the Runners as the Chief Guest. I congratulate the organisers for putting up a great Event with a wonderful and an efficient team, at Amity Global School which has a state of the art premise to hold such events. It was a wonderful morning.”

Curated by the Stay Fit Run Team—led by sports and media professionals such as ace runner Ramanjit Singh Oberoi (Senior Race Director), Yashwinder Paal Singh (Co-Race Director), Sunil Ghuge (Senior PR and Social Activist), Meena Ghuge (Social Activist), and Pragnya Das Singh (Head Event Curator)—this event will now be a significant sporting occasion for Noida. Oberoi, an inspiring 65-year-old race director, emphasises, “Age is just a number when we focus on our physical and mental health correctly.”

Event Highlights

Participants enjoyed inspiring atmosphere appreciated the excellent route, health and wellness booths, expert nutrition and fitness advice, and awards for top performers. Whether an experienced runner or a newcomer, they pointed that the Stay Fit Run Noida fulfilled the promise of a day of community, inspiration, and celebration of well-being.

Registrations were being done on Townscript and Decathlon Play, with limited spots and discounts also. December, the 15th was truly a fulfilling and meaningful experience, and a happy and healthy weekend!

The Emcee Deepak Chaudhary started the show and kept everyone engaged and motivated. Call all the pacers and Motivators on stage ask them about race, pacing, motivating, Then Anytime Fitness activity, Zumba and warm up for race was done, along with music and a push up competition was also held for women and men in separate categories. This was followed by Kala Smriti fusion classical dance on western music and Dance Movement Therapy talk was given by Roshmi Mazumdar, fun activity on family values by Work Life Balance and Happy Family Coach, Mona Mehra.

This was followed by key speeches and Dr Sunita Godara provided valuable inputs to the runners and also introduced the Marathon Champions who had come for the Stay Fit Run.
