The commissioner of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) issued a legal notice to Sreesanth after the fast bowler said.

That Gautam Gambhir called him ‘fixer’ during the Eliminator between India Capitals and Gujarat Giants on Wednesday, December 6.

The notice mentioned that Sreesanth was guilty of breaching his contract while playing in the T20 tournament. It also stated that talks with the pacer will only be initiated once he removes the videos criticising the player within the preview of the league.

The umpires also sent their report in the controversy, but nothing was mentioned about Sreesanth’s claims of calling him ‘fixer’.

Earlier, Sreesanth released a couple of videos where he lashed out at Gambhir for his hurtful remarks during the match. The speedster said that Gambhir was rude and provoked him with the harsh words.

“Just wanted to clear some air on what happened with Mr. Fighter, who always fights with all his colleagues for no reason whatsoever. He doesn’t even respect his own senior players, including Viru bhai and a lot of people. That’s exactly what happened today. Without any provocation, he just kept on calling me, something which is very rude and something which should not have been said by Mr. Gautam Gambhir,” Sreesanth had said.

Thereafter, Sreesanth also celebrated Gambhir’s dismissal in the Qualifier 2 of the LLC 2023 on Thursday against the Manipal Tigers. After Amitoze Singh ran Gambhir out with a direct hit, Sreesanth took to his Instagram story and wrote, “Beautiful throw, well done @amitozesingh14”.

“It is so shocking to hear from Sree that a player who has played for India with him for many years can stoop to this level. Even after so many years of retirement from active cricket. After all upbringing matters a lot and it shows up when this kind of behaviour comes up on ground. Shocking truly shocking,” she wrote.
