The Bombay Stock Exchange announced in a circular on Friday that there will be a full trading session in the share markets on Saturday.
The trading session will occur during regular hours and cover the equity, securities, lending and borrowing (SLB), and equity derivatives segments, the exchange said.
However, on Monday, trading across equities, debt, and money markets will be closed due to a public holiday in Maharashtra in observance of the Ram temple’s ceremony.
Earlier plans for the stock market included two special trading sessions on Saturday, aiming to test a failsafe system for trading.
