PepsiCo has appointed Jagrut Kotecha as the new CEO for PepsiCo India, succeeding Ahmed El Sheikh in this leadership role.
Currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer for PepsiCo in Africa, Middle East, and South Asia (AMESA), Kotecha is set to assume his position as the head of PepsiCo India in March 2024.
The transition comes as part of PepsiCo’s strategic realignment, with Ahmed El Sheikh moving on from his role as the CEO for PepsiCo India to take charge as the CEO for the Middle East Business Unit within the company.
Kotecha is poised to play a pivotal role in leading PepsiCo’s operations in India. As the incoming CEO, Kotecha will be entrusted with steering PepsiCo’s strategic initiatives and business growth in the dynamic market landscape of India.
