Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan is doing wonders at the box office, breaking records one after the other.

PATHAAN BOX OFFICE COLLECTION
Pathaan, which released on January 25, is running a riot at the box office. Also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, the film took a bumper opening at the box office and it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

During the weekend, the film did extremely well and successfully crossed the Rs 400-crore mark in India. With this, the film’s business has surpassed that of Aamir Khan’s Dangal, making it an all-time no. 1 Hindi movie.

According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, Pathaan has now crossed the Rs 800-crore mark worldwide. It’s next milestone would be reaching the Rs 900-crore mark. Meanwhile, in India, the film grossed Rs 400 crore nett. Ramesh Bala’s tweet read, “#Pathaan clearing ₹ 500 Crs gross in India and ₹ 800 Crs globally at the end of 2nd Sunday (sic).”

According to Box Office India, “Pathaan is looking at another huge day as mass centres run riot and show huge jumps from Saturday. The collections on Sunday (February 5) look to be heading for Rs 27-28 crore nett and may even go a little higher and this will give Pathaan a second weekend of Rs 62-63 crore nett. The lifetime business goes to 410-411 crore nett making it the first original HINDI film to cross 400 crore nett.

The other two films to reach this mark have both been dubbed films KGF 2 and Bahubali – The Conclusion. Its a mark that should have been reached sometime ago but this sort of commercial action entertainer was never seen. The 400 crore nett mark may have come but the film is eyeing bigger benchmarks and if the can see two or three more double digit days then it will get there.”
