At least three people were killed, while more than 270 were injured after a vehicle loaded with gas exploded in Kenya’s capital Nairobi.
The incident happened at nearly 11.30 pm on Thursday (local Kenyan time). According to The Associated Press, the explosion set off an inferno that burned homes and warehouses.
The truck explosion ignited a huge fireball, and a flying gas cylinder set off a fire that burned down the Oriental Godown, a warehouse that deals with garments and textiles, a video showed.
Police told the news agency the death toll could rise.
Meanwhile, those injured were shifted to hospitals.
