KRK finally reviews Brahmastra and declares it box office failure, says ‘hope Karan Johar won’t blame me’
Kamaal R Khan’s tweets and his open jibes at Bollywood often land him in trouble. But still, there is no stopping him.
Popularly known as KRK, the actor-critic was earlier arrested by Malad Police following a controversial tweet made by him in 2020. KRK was later granted bail. Many expected him to tone down his words but it looks like nothing has changed. KRK has now finally reviewed Brahmastra and even called it a box office failure!
KRK REVIEWS BRAHMASTRA
Taking to his official Twitter handle, KRK reviewed Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra. He declared it a box office failure and wrote that this time, he wasn’t even the influencing factor. KRK’s tweet read, “I didn’t review film #Brahmastra still people didn’t go to theatres to watch it. So it has become a disaster. Hope @karanjohar won’t blame me for the failure like many other Bollywood people (sic).” For the uninitiated, KRK often takes jibes at Karan Johar. In fact, netizens had also declared that Karan got KRK arrested so that he couldn’t review Brahmastra.
ABOUT KRK’S CASE
Kamaal R Khan was detained at the airport and was arrested post questioning. The complaint was filed against Kamaal R Khan at Malad Police Station by Yuva Sena member Rahul Kanal. KRK was arrested after a case was registered against him in 2020 for his social media attacks on Irrfan and Rishi Kapoor. A lookout notice was issued against KRK after which, an FIR was registered against him in 2020. The complaint was filed by Yuva Sena member Rahul Kanal. He will be produced today in Borivali court at 11 pm on August 30. He was arrested under Sections 153A, 294, 500, 501, 505, 67, 98 of the IPC. In less than a week, he was again arrested on September 3 for a 2021 molestation case filed against him by a fitness trainer.
Kamaal R Khan often makes headlines due to his open attacks on Bollywood. He has worked in several Hindi and Bhojpuri films and has also produced projects. He was also a part of Bigg Boss 3.

Brahmastra is a superhero drama that revolves around a simpleton who shares a special bond with fire. It features Alia Bhatt as the leading lady and marks her first collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor. The cast includes Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan. It is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in the movie. Brahmastra opened in the theatres on September 9.
The storyline of Brahmastra follows Shiva, a DJ, who learns about his strange connection with the element of fire. While he emerges as the Agniastra himself, the film follows his strange connection with the Brahmstra, a supernatural weapon that is said to be able to destroy the universe. On the other hand, Junoon, the pawn of the dark forces, is also on a quest to get hold of the Brahmastra.
