Pantone, on Friday, announced the colour of the year 2023. A little away from the anyway-raging hot pink, the colour that’s going to rule runways, wardrobes and home decor in the upcoming year is Viva Magenta.
In the official announcement on Instagram, Pantone described Viva Magenta as “an unconventional shade for an unconventional time.” The institute called it a hybrid colour, a nuanced crimson red tone, and added that “it is an animated red that encourages experimentation and self-expression without restraint.”
