Khosla Ka Ghosla Actor Parvin Dabas In ICU After Road Accident, Wife Preeti Jhangiani with Him At Hospital
Actor Parvin Dabas has been hospitalised in the ICU at a Bandra hospital in Mumbai after a road accident on Saturday morning.
His wife, actress Preeti Jhangiani, is with him. “Doctors have carried out all the tests and his wife, actress Preeti Jhangiani is by his side at the hospital,” said a source, as quoted by Indianexpress.in.
The Pro Panja League, which Dabas co-founded, released an official statement on the mishap. It read, “We regret to inform that Parvin Dabas, co-founder of the Pro Panja League, has been hospitalised and is in the ICU at Holy family hospital Bandra following an unfortunate car accident in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Details of the incident are still emerging, but we can confirm that Mr Dabas is currently receiving medical attention. Our thoughts are with Parvin and his family during this challenging time. The Pro Panja League management is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as appropriate. We kindly request privacy for Mr Dabas and his loved ones. We wish Parvin a swift and complete recovery.”
The actor’s wife Preeti Jhangiani said in a statement, according to ABP Live, “Me and my family are in shock right now and cannot speak. The medical update so far is that He has a serious concussion and Doctors are doing CT scans and other tests to see if there is any more damage. Right now he cannot move much. He has been working at night as the workload with the league is a lot and had an accident while driving in the early hours of the morning .”
Parvin Dabas kickstarted his acting career with the film Dillagi in 1999 but shot to fame through Mira Nair’s critically acclaimed film Monsoon Wedding in 2001. Over the years, he has starred in films such as The Hero: Love Story of a Spy, Khosla Ka Ghosla — where his performance was particularly appreciated — and Ragini MMS 2. Apart from Bollywood, Parvin has worked in Malayalam and Kannada films.
Apart from acting, Parvin explored filmmaking and made his directorial debut with Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande in 2011, a film that earned international acclaim at a few film festivals. He is also a trained scuba diver and passionate about underwater photography. Parvin is the founder of The MMA India Show, focusing on Mixed Martial Arts, where he interviews prominent figures from the sport.
Parvin is married to actress Preeti Jhangiani, known for her role in Mohabbatein. The couple tied the knot in 2008 and have a son, Jaiveer.
