Two shooters who worked for Canada-based Khalistani terrorist Arshdeep alias Arsh Dala were arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell after an encounter in Delhi on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
One of the shooters got injured after he was shot in the leg during the encounter that took place in East Delhi’s Mayur Vihar area. According to the police, the shooters had planned to attack a Punjabi singer.
Both the arrested accused were absconding after jumping parole in a case in Punjab.
Meanwhile, Arsh Dala, who left India in 2020, is wanted by the Delhi Police, Punjab Police and the National Investigation Agency (NIA). He is presently in Canada.
