Actor-director Justin Baldoni is facing multiple accusations by Blake Lively.
The ‘It Ends With Us’ director-actor has been accused of sexual harassments on the sets of the film. Amid these shocking claims, Justin has been dropped by his talent agency, WME. Coincidentally, the agency handles Blake Lively as well.
According to Deadline, the decision to remove Justin from their talent agency was made after Blake went public with her allegations against him. However, the agency is yet to react to the news or the developments surrounding the sexual harassment case.
Blake Lively has filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, the director and co-star of It Ends With Us, alleging sexual harassment and claiming he attempted to launch a smear campaign against her, which caused emotional distress to her and her family. Baldoni’s representatives have denied the accusations, describing them as “categorically false.”
According to documents obtained by TMZ, a meeting was held during the film’s production to address Lively’s grievances. Reportedly, the meeting included her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds. The lawsuit outlines specific demands, including prohibitions against showing nude images or videos of women to Lively, discussing Baldoni’s alleged past pornography addiction, making remarks about sexual exploits, referencing cast and crew members’ genitalia, commenting on Lively’s weight, or mentioning her deceased father.
Blake Lively’s lawsuit against Justin Baldoni includes a demand that any changes to intimate or sexual scenes require her prior approval. These terms were reportedly endorsed by the film’s distributor, Sony Pictures. Lively also accuses Baldoni of “social manipulation” and attempting to harm her reputation through a smear campaign.
Baldoni’s team reacted to the claims. In a statement to Variety, the team said, “It is shameful that Ms Lively and her representatives would make such serious and categorically false accusations against Mr. Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios and its representatives, as yet another desperate attempt to ‘fix’ her negative reputation which was garnered from her own remarks and actions during the campaign for the film; interviews and press activities that were observed publicly, in real time and unedited, which allowed for the internet to generate their own views and opinions.”
