A day back, the official Instagram handle of Diva Yoga shared a short video compilation of Malaika Arora working out with her yoga squad. In the video, Malaika can be seen performing the Warrior II pose with the help of two dumbbells in her both hands.

Working on strengthening her arm muscles, Malaika can be seen repeatedly performing the yoga asana, also known as Virabhadrasana II. “Working out with my diva squad is especially fun when we challenge ourselves and take up high-intensity workouts. Sculpts are the perfect props to add strength training to your yoga practice,” read an excerpt of Diva Yoga’s post that featured Malaika.

The fitness routine, performed by Malaika in the video, comes with multiple health benefits. It helps in stretching the hips, groins and shoulder muscles. Warrior II pose also helps in opening up the chest and lungs, and stimulating the abdominal muscles.

Improved circulation, respiration, balance and stability are also benefits of performing the yoga routine on a regular basis. It also helps in energising the body and alleviating backache symptoms.
