India continued their domination with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj leaving Australia in deep trouble on Day 4 of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy opener. Travis Head showed some fight after top-order collapse but Bumrah worked his magic to have the Australian dismissed on 89.

Earlier, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli scored majestic centuries to take India to a massive lead before Jasprit Bumrah began his magic to leave Australia in deep trouble.

Jaiswal scored 166 and Kohli remained unbeaten on 100 as India declared their second innings on 487/6 in 134.3 overs. They thus set Australia 534 runs to win.

Enter Bumrah and he struck twice to remove Nathan McSweeney and Marnus Labuschagne cheaply to leave Australia in trouble. Pat Cummins, who walked in as the nightwatchman only lasted eight deliveries and fell to Mohammed Siraj. At the close of play on Day 3, Australia were 12/3, needing 522 runs to win with seven wickets remaining.
