Khalistani supporters have threatened to replace the Indian flag in Delhi’s Pragati Maidan.

With the Khalistani flag amid the Punjab Police’s massive crackdown on separatist leader Amritpal Singh and his aides. A passenger received the threat on audio and according to sources, Khalistani supporters spoke about Amritpal Singh in the clip.

In the audio, the alleged Khalistani supporters threatened to take over the Pragati Maidan and pull down the Indian Tricolour. They also used profanity towards Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.

The Delhi Police lodged an FIR in the case on March 23 under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Special Cell of Delhi Police is probing the matter.

Authorities are preparing on war footing to host a G20 meeting at the Pragati Maidan in September.

Meanwhile, Amritpal Singh continues to evade arrest. Several of his aides have been arrested and questioned by the police.
