The prices of gold and silver are trading on the lower side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Thursday.
Gold futures, maturing on August 5, 2022, stand at Rs 50,800 per 10 grams, recording a marginal dip of Rs 160 or 0.31 per cent. The previous close was recorded at Rs 50,904.
Similarly, silver futures, due on July 5, 2022, witnessed a downfall of Rs 396 or 0.65 per cent and were retailing at Rs 60,374 per kg on the MCX against the previous close of Rs 60,648.
The rate for 24-carat of gold was Rs 51,990 per 10 grams for major cities such as Delhi and Kolkata, while in Bengaluru it is retailing at Rs 52,040.
