After witnessing mixed trends in the Indian markets yesterday, both gold and silver were trading on the higher side of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Thursday, November 24.
Witnessing a hike of Rs 212 or 0.40 per cent, gold futures, maturing on December 5, 2022, stood at Rs 52,690 per 10 grams on the MCX.
Meanwhile, silver futures, maturing on December 5, 2022, also recorded a jump of Rs 623 or 1.01 percent and were retailing at Rs 62,460 per kg on the MCX.
Notably, the prices of gold and silver stood at Rs 52,451 per 10 grams and Rs 61,630 per kg respectively when the market closed on November 23.

In the domestic market, gold prices change daily due to currency exchange rate, excise duty, state taxes, and the making charges of jewellers, which vary from state to state.
Meanwhile, in the international market, bullion prices were slightly picking up buoyed by a weaker greenback. Gold has been trading steady since it fell by 0.86 per cent at the start of the week.
