The BJP on Wednesday attacked the Congress after Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, a former minister in Imran Khan’s cabinet in Pakistan, shared a video featuring Rahul Gandhi on his social media handle and praised the Congress leader.
In a post on X, Amit Malviya, BJP’s IT cell chief, said, “Ch Fawad Hussain, who served in the Imran Khan cabinet, as Minister for Information and Broadcasting, is promoting Rahul Gandhi. Is the Congress planning to contest election in Pakistan?”
“From a manifesto, that has imprints of the Muslim league to a ringing endorsement, from across the border, Congress’s dalliance with Pakistan can’t get more obvious,” he added.
Malviya also shared a screenshot of Hussain’s post, where the latter wrote ‘Rahul on fire…’ and shared a video.
The former Pakistan minister shared a video featuring Rahul Gandhi, where the Congress leader is targetting the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In the video shared by the former Pakistan Minister, Rahul Gandhi could also be heard attacking the BJP government over the invitees at Ram Mandir’s Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
The edited video shows Rahul Gandhi speaking about the Ram Mandir’s inauguration, charging the BJP government of sidelining the interests of the poor and youth.
Another BJP leader Vishnu Vardhan Reddy also reacted to Fawad Hussain sharing Rahul Gandhi’s clip and said, “From manifesto imprints of Muslim League to endorsements across the border, @RahulGandhi’s alliance with Pakistan couldn’t be more obvious. Choudhary Fawad Hussain, former minister in Imran Khan’s cabinet, now promoting Rahul Gandhi!”
