Ivanka Trump, the daughter of former US President Donald Trump, on Thursday visited.

The Kfar Aza kibbutz in Israel near the border with Gaza where Hamas terrorists launched its attack on October 7. She was accompanied by her husband, Jared Kushner, on a tour led by Amir Ohana, the Speaker of Israel’s house of representatives.

Ivanka’s visit to Israel comes days after a Colorado court ruled to remove Donald Trump from the state’s presidential primary ballot because of his role in the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol by his supporters.

Ivanka and Jared Kushner met survivors of the October 7 attack and were shown a compilation of footage taken on that day, said a report by The Times of Israel. A resident of the kibbutz gave Ivanka a dog tag inscribed with “Kfar Aza is home.”

The couple also met representatives from the Israel Defence Forces and women Border Police officers who fought Hamas terrorists along the Gaza border on October 7.

Ivanka and Jared also met rescue service personnel and gifted the first responders and soldiers with commemorative medallions for their life-saving actions.

“Witnessing the aftermath of the October 7th terrorist attack, I heard heart-wrenching stories from victims, families, soldiers, and first responders,” Ivanka Trump wrote on X after her visit.

She added that she will pray for the safe return of the hostages who are still held captive by Hamas.

Hamas terrorists had stormed the kibbutz on October 7 as part of its attack on Israel when they killed around 1,200 people and abducted over 240. Out of Kfar’s Aza’s 750 residents, over 60 people were killed and around 20 were taken hostage, reported The Times of Israel.

In response to that attack, Israel has vowed to destroy Hamas and bombarded Gaza where around 20,057 Palestinians have been killed, according to health authorities at the enclave.

Other prominent American figures who have visited Israel after the war with Hamas include Elon Musk, comedian Jerry Seinfeld and actor Michael Rapaport.
