Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s recently released film ‘Crew’ registered a fantastic opening weekend at the box office.
In just three days, the film grossed over Rs 30 crore at the domestic box office. According to the early estimates, the heist film, led by the three women, is said to have earned over Rs 10 crore net in India. ‘Crew’ received favourable reviews from the critics and audiences alike. The film was one of the most anticipated movies in recent times, thanks to the three powerhouse performers in the lead.
On its first day at the box office, ‘Crew’ bagged the third-biggest opening of 2024 for a Bollywood film after ‘Fighter’ and ‘Shaitaan’. On March 31, the film is estimated to have earned Rs 10.25 crore net at the domestic box office. This is ‘Crew’s’ highest collection so far in India.
‘Crew’ released in theatres on March 29 amid massive anticipation amongst fans. The three-day box office collection now stands at Rs 29.25 crore net in India. The film also recorded an occupancy of 29.93 per cent on March 31 in India.
‘Crew’ is a heist comedy film directed by Rajesh A Krishnan. While Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon play lead roles, Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma play supporting roles. The film is written by Nidhi Mehra and Mehul Suri.
‘Crew’ is jointly produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network. The film is on its way to becoming a profitable venture for all the producers and distributors.
