Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Thursday launched an aggressive attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party and said.

That far from being afraid of the probe agencies, he was ready to let them set up offices at his home if this brought “shanti” (peace).

The RJD leader claimed that the central government was continuously getting the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to work against them at its behest but “till date nothing has been found.”

“The CBI should open an office in our house itself. I will give them space myself,” Yadav said.

The RJD leader made the tongue-in-cheek reference to allegations of misuse of central agencies against political opponents of the BJP while chatting with journalists at his mother and former chief minister Rabri Devi’s house.

Yadav further claimed that the Bihar BJP leaders were given responsibility by the “top command” to destroy Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s party. “However, these people have failed in the eyes of the top leadership. Their credibility is gone”, Yadav claimed.

After becoming the Deputy CM, Yadav spoke openly about the issue of providing employment to the youth of Bihar. He had previously served as deputy chief minister of Bihar from 2015 to 2017.

In a short time, I experienced being a minister and leader of the opposition, Yadav said.

“Since then, I have matured, having served as leader of the opposition and steered the party campaign in the last assembly elections when my father was not available. I now have every kind of experience. Therefore, development work will be done faster”, said the younger son of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad.
