Arvind Kejriwal gets bail from court after skipping probe agency summons

A court on Saturday granted bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on a surety bond worth Rs 15,000 and a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh.

After he was asked to appear before it on the basis of two Enforcement Directorate (ED) complaints for skipping multiple summonses issued in connection to the Delhi Excise Policy case.

The Rouse Avenue Court asked the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo to appear before it in person today after the ED complaints alleged that he did not comply with the multiple summonses issued to him by the probe agency.

Kejriwal and his lawyer Ramesh Gupta appeared before the court amidst heavy security in the premises.
