In case you missed watching ‘Shaitaan’ in theatres, the film is now available for streaming on Netflix.

Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan and Jyotika’s ‘Shaitaan’ will be available on Netflix from May 4. The film saw a decent collection when it opened in theatres on March 8. ‘Shaitaan’ earned a total collection of Rs 149.49 crore net.
Netflix India, while announcing the release of ‘Shaitaan’ in theatres, mentioned, “Ghar ke darwaze band rakhna, kahi Shaitaan na aa jaye (Keep the doors of the house closed, lest Shaitaan should come in) Shaitaan starts streaming midnight, on Netflix!”
‘Shaitaan’ is a remake of the Gujarati film titled ‘Vash.’ Ahead of the film’s release, the CBFC has suggested a few modifications along with a cut. The trailer hinted that ‘Shaitaan’ revolves around black magic. As reported by Bollywood Hungama, the Censor Board asked the makers to add a voiceover featuring the disclaimer stating ‘the film does not support/endorse black magic’. Director Vikas Bahl was also asked to replace an abusive word with a scream.
Apart from this, CBFC asked the makers for a 25% decrease in the visuals portraying blood dripping from the mouth. Furthermore, ‘Shaitaan’ makers have been directed to incorporate a message concerning liquor consumption. These alterations culminate in a total runtime of 132 minutes.
