Justin Bieber arrives in Mumbai for Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s wedding
Singer Justin Bieber will perform at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities in Mumbai.
He arrived in the city on Thursday, July 4. Videos of his entourage of cars were shared by paparazzi on social media. Radhika Merchant is set to marry Anant Ambani on July 12.
Bieber adds to an already intriguing lineup of international stars possibly performing at the Ambani wedding. Earlier, sources informed India Today that Adele, Drake, and Lana Del Rey are in talks to perform at Radhika and Anant’s wedding functions.
A source told IndiaToday.in that the Canadian singer is likely to perform at the sangeet ceremony of Anant and Radhika. He is known for chartbusters like ‘Baby’, ‘Sorry’, and ‘Never Say Never’, among others.
Previously, pop queen Rihanna performed at the pre-wedding bash of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar. Following the Jamnagar celebrations, the cruise party in June featured performances by The Backstreet Boys, Pitbull, and Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli, who entertained a live audience on the Italian island of Portofino.
The wedding festivities for Nita and Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, Anant, began with an intimate puja ceremony at the Ambani residence, Antilia, on June 29. This was followed by a mass wedding organised by the Ambanis for over 50 underprivileged couples from Maharashtra’s Palghar on July 2.
On July 3, the families of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant came together for a Mameru ceremony at Antilia. Photos and videos from the event were shared on social media. Radhika’s friend and actor, Janhvi Kapoor, along with her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya, were also spotted at the event. Orry shared a sneak peek of the ceremony on his Instagram account.
Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani are scheduled to get married on July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Their wedding, spanning three days, includes three events – ‘Shubh Vivaah’ followed by ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ on July 13 and ‘Mangal Utsav’ or the wedding reception on July 14.
