‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ box office Day 4: Akshay-Tiger film touches Rs 40 crore

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s recently released film, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, has touched the Rs 40 crore mark in India in just four days.

Now, the film is marching towards Rs 50 crore at the domestic box office. On Sunday, April 14, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ earned around Rs 10 crore net in India. Now, all eyes are on the film’s theatrical run during the weekdays and how it is going to hold its ground.

‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ released in theatres on April 11 on the occasion of Eid. The film clashed with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Maidaan’ in theatres.

On Sunday, April 14, the film saw a slight growth in collection compared to Day 3 numbers. Going by the initial trade reports, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ earned approximately Rs 9 crore net in India on April 14. The movie has been holding steady in theatres ever since its release.

The four-day total collection of ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ now stands at Rs 40.75 crore net at the domestic box office.The film had an overall occupancy of 20.63 per cent on April 14.

‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ has been receiving mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. IndiaToday.in reviewer rated the film 1.5 out of 5 stars and wrote, “There are some good parts in the film too. In the first half, which mostly looks like a series of poor WhatsApp jokes and social media memes knit together, Akshay Kumar recreates his signature ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ pose.”

Written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is a high-octane action thriller. Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the antagonist. The film also features Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F, Ronit Roy Bose and several others in pivotal roles. Sonakshi Sinha appears in a cameo.
