UP Police reached Hyderabad to arrest actress Jayaprada, wanted in these two cases

After searching Mumbai and Delhi, the district police has also reached Hyderabad to arrest film actress and former MP Jayaprada, who is on trial in two cases of violation of code of conduct.

However, the police was disappointed here too. The police have to arrest him and present him in court by January 10.

Both the cases of code of conduct violation against Jayaprada are from the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Then Jayaprada had contested elections from Rampur seat on BJP ticket. There is a case against him in Swar police station. In this, he is accused of inaugurating a road in Noorpur village on April 19 despite the code of conduct.

Case of objectionable remarks

The second case is of Kemri police station, in which he is accused of making objectionable remarks in a public meeting organized in Pipliya Mishra village. In both the cases, the police completed the investigation and filed charge sheets in the court. The case is being heard in the MP-MLA Special Court (Magistrate Trial). In these cases, she was not appearing in the court for the last several dates, on which non-bailable warrants have been issued against her four times.

The court had strictly ordered the Superintendent of Police to form a special team for the arrest. On the orders of the court, the Superintendent of Police has formed a special team for his arrest. Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dwivedi said that the team has searched from Rampur to Delhi, Mumbai, Haryana and Hyderabad, but the accused has not been found anywhere.
