Manish Sisodia, in jail in Delhi liquor policy case, arrested by ED

Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case after two days of questioning.

Sisodia is lodged in Delhi’s Tihar jail after the CBI arrested him in connection with the same case. On Tuesday, Manish Sisodia was questioned for 45 minutes by the ED officials inside the Tihar jail, sources in the Aam Aadmi Party claimed. He was questioned in Tihar Jail from 10:15 am to 11 am, they said.

Manish Sisodia’s bail plea will be heard at Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court on Friday.

The former Delhi minister was arrested in connection with the alleged Delhi liquor scam and is currently in judicial custody.
