Rakhi Sawant’s mother passes away, husband Adil Durrani confirms
Rakhi Sawant’s mother is no more. Rakhi’s mother, who was undergoing treatment for the past few years, passed away today, on January 28.
She was battling brain tumour and cancer. The news was confirmed by the actress’ husband, Adil Durrani.

Rakhi Sawant’s mother is no more. The Bigg Boss contestant had revealed that her mom has not been keeping well for the last few years. In fact, the revelation of her mother being diagnosed with brain tumor was made when the actress was locked in Bigg Boss 14 house.
A few days ago, Rakhi Sawant had uploaded an emotional video where she updated the fans on her mother’s health. She shared that her mom has been diagnosed with a brain tumour and cancer. Rakhi’s mother was undergoing treatment at Taj Memorial Cancer Hospital.
The Main Hoon Na actress broke down while requesting fans to pray for her mother’s good health. Sharing the post, Rakhi wrote in the caption, “Mom is in hospital. She is not well pray for her.” Her boyfriend Adil Khan Durrani and her brother Rakesh are also seen with her in the video. Rakhi said, “Hi everyone, I came out from Bigg Boss Marathi Season 4 last night. (Got to know) My mom is not well, she is in hospital. Please pray for her, she is not feeling her best.”
The actress added in the video that nobody spoke to her in the reality show about her mother’s health and she got to know once she stepped out-post the finale. A teary-eyed Rakhi further said, “She is fighting a battle with cancer. We just came to know that she has brain tumor with cancer.” At one point in time, Rakhi pans her camera at her mother who is undergoing treatment and lying unconscious on the hospital bed.
