An unbeaten 38-run knock from Mehidy Hasan Miraz guided Bangladesh to victory by one wicket against India in the first ODI of the three-match series, at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Sunday.
Asked to bat first, Team India was bowled out at just a mere total of 186 with KL Rahul top-scoring with 73 runs. Shakib Al-Hasan took five wickets. Chasing 187, Bangladesh lost wickets in a quick succession and were nine down before Mehidy anchored the innings and took his side across the line, with one wicket and four overs in hand.
For India, Mohammed Siraj scalped three wickets while Kuldeep Sen and Washington Sundar took two wickets each.
