Sexual and reproductive health plays an important role in a woman’s overall health and wellbeing.

Certain lifestyle changes can help women avoid risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV/AIDS, allergies and infections.

Certain conditions like endometriosis, PCOS, infertility, gynecological cancer, cysts, fibroids, and other menstrual problems require immediate attention. Not treating them at the right time can worsen one’s condition.

Don’t smoke: A cigarette contains countless toxic compositions causing addiction, cancer, and other issues.

Various studies have confirmed that smoking can take a toll on one’s ovaries, uterus, and other areas of the female reproductive system. Besides, smoking during pregnancy can lead to congenital abnormalities in the baby.

Regular check-ups and screenings: As you age, it is advised to go for routine screening, including pap smears and STI and infections tests. Doing so can help you deal with all these conditions effextively and lead a healthy life.
