In a big relief for the Indian cricket team fans, Jasprit Bumrah has shaken off any injury concerns and bowled full tilt in the nets ahead of the Brisbane Test on Thursday, December 12.
Bumrah has been in sensational form for India in the ongoing series as he led from the front with the ball in Perth to guide his side to a big win. During the Adelaide Test, the pacer added another 4 wickets to his name despite the visitors suffering a loss.
However, during the pink-ball Test, there was a moment of panic for the Indian fans as Bumrah would go down on the field and had to be consulted by the physios. While it was suspected to be a bout of cramps, many, including former Australia pacer Damien Fleming, suspected that the issue was a serious one. During India’s practice session in Adelaide on Tuesday, December 10, the pacer didn’t bowl in the nets.
Now, the Indian pacer has gotten back into the nets and was seen bowling at his usual best. According to Australian journalist Bharat Sundaresan, the Indian pacer started off the session with a few leg-break deliveries alongside R Ashwin before switching back to his usual pace.
Bumrah would go full tilt in the nets and bowled at the likes of Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul. Sundaresan reported that Bumrah was being a handful to both the Indian batters during the nets session. You can see the full video below:
