While the comment didn't go down well with a section of netizens, fans of the Bollywood superstar extended support to him on social media. Salman got embroiled into controversy recently after he took a dig at Priyanka for walking out of 'Bharat' to marry Nick Jonas.
Salman said the makers of the film had offered her to delay the project to work around her schedule, but she still quit the film.
He went on to add that actors would leave their husbands to be a part of a film like this.
After Priyanka walked out of 'Bharat', Katrina Kaif was roped in to replace the 'Quantico' star. Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, 'Bharat' is set to hit the big screens on June 5.
